In the seventh round of European Team Chess Championship, Russia is very close to the title with another victory against France. There is a three point gap between Russia and Armenia and even a draw against Spain would practically secure the title. In women's section, Russia won 2.5-1.5 against Georgia in the derby of the day while Poland got another win against Ukraine with 3-1.
