World computer chess champion Deep Junior and Deep Fritz that defeated reigning world champion Vladimir Kramnik last November faced each other in Elista in a six game match sponsored by President of Kalymkia and FIDE Kirsan Ilyumzhinov. Click the link below for more details.

Between 6-12 June 2007 two very strong computer programs Deep Junior and Deep Fritz going to face each other. Deep Junior, the reigning computer chess world champion is going to face Deep Fritz which defeated the reigning World Champion Vladimir Kramnik. ChessBase is the producing company of the both programs. President of FIDE and Kalmykia, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov is going to be the sponsor of the match and the total prize of the match is going to be US $ 100,000.
