Acropolis 2007 won by GM Smirin
The famous international Acropolis Open was held in Athens, Greece from 14 to 22 August.
GM Ilia Smirin won the event after leading the event most of the time with 7/9. He was followed by GMs Kiril Georgiev, Mircea Parligras, Dimitrios Mastrovassilis, Vadim Malathatko, Hristos Banikas ve Dmitry Svetushkin who shared 2-7. places with 6.5 points.
