Vishy Anand leading the event after round 10 after gaining a draw in a crucial and interesting struggle against World Champion Vladimir Kramnik. Aronian won against Grischuk and all the other games ended as a draw. Gelfand is following Anand at 6.5 , with 5.5. Kramnik, Leko and Aronian are sharing 3-5.places with 5 points.

Round 9 was a displeasant one for Boris Gelfand who was following the highest rating player in the world, Vishy Anand leading the event with 5.5. Gelfand lost in a slightly worse position against Alexander Grischuk.  Anand now leads the event with a 1 points difference.

Leko was the only winner in Round 8 against Grischuk. In the critical encounter between the players at the top of the table, Anand and Gelfand, ended as a draw without much intense struggle after the opening. Anand is leading with 5,5 followed by 5 with Gelfand.
