Turkish Chess Federation (TSF) is looking for Foreign Trainers

There has been chess boom in Turkey with many international events held at different levels including the last of them Atatürk International Women Masters. Turkish national teams have their trainers already, however, now TCF is looking for new trainers, whether Turkish or foreigners, who should be titled players. They have a new job opportunity in Turkey to work as local trainers with decent conditions and wages to be paid by Turkish Chess Federation. As you know, in the last three years, we have made a big success in popularising chess throughout Turkey. Today, we have hundreds of thousands of members in the

Federation and around 1,5 million children learning chess in schools.

Every day, every month, every year, these numbers are increasing.

Also we have around 40.000 instructors certified by the TSF and teaching chess in schools. However, increasing the quality of this people, for club level training will need a lot more time.

In the meantime, we have had a huge expression of interest from parents to get more personal coaches and professional trainers in Turkey.

As the TSF, we have decided to open up a number of new positions for experienced, professional, foreign trainers.

What are we looking for?

· We want to recruit GMs, IMs, and FMs who are experienced in training chess on a full time basis.
· They shall have minimum ten years experience in training
· They shall speak fluent English (Turkish is a big plus)
· They shall not have any problem to stay in Turkey ten months per year.
· They shall get a medical test to show that there are no health problems.
· They will work in a town or in a few towns where the TSF will decide.
· All training facilities will be arranged by Federation.
· They will have social security and taxes paid in Turkey by TSF.

How they will work?

· All trainers will be assigned to a local club in a town.
· Their accommodation and lodging will be provided by the club.
· Salary will be paid by the Federation
· Trainers will give only training as instructed by the Federation. All students will be selected by the Federation. No individual arrangements will be allowed.
· Federation may change the place and club as may be necessary.
· Training will be full time ten months per year. (two months holiday will be given)
